School Catchment Search Methods

If you've ever wondered if your dream home falls within the perfect school catchment then you are in the right place. A site called My Baragar makes things really easy. Just click on one of the links and type in your street name. The search will bring up all the different street numbers and you simply have to find the one that matches your home. Don't worry if you don't see your municiplity in this list; just search for "my baragar and your municipality" in any search engine and you should be able to find the site. Not all municipalites participate, for example New Westminster, if that is the case you can give me a call and I am happy to let you know.

Another option is to use a Geographical Information Sysytem or GIS. This method allows you to pull up a lot of useful information about a home you are interested in. Along with school cathcment information you can find out things like the zoning, assessed value, and lot sizes, et cetera. If you like to get as much information as possible about your next potential home here is a good place to start. If you have problems accessing the maps try using Internet Explorer, they may not work well with Google Chrome or Mozilla.
